What event teams ask before the first event.
Do attendees need to create an account or install an app?
No. They open the event link in their phone browser, take a selfie, and see every photo they appear in. There is nothing to install and no sign-up form.
Do we need a professional photographer?
No. Anyone on your team can upload photos from a computer. If you hire a photographer, you can invite them to upload straight into the album.
What happens to the selfie an attendee takes?
It is sent encrypted to the face-matching service, compared in memory against the faces indexed for that event, and discarded as soon as the search completes. It is never saved to disk or added to any database.
Where are the photos stored?
On Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. Photos are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and travel over encrypted connections. Face search also runs on AWS.
Can we delete the photos and face data after the event?
Yes. You control retention. Deleting a photo removes its face data; deleting the album removes the whole face index for that event along with the photos.
Is the gallery public?
Each event has its own link and access code, and album pages are kept out of search engines. Only people you share the link with can open it. You can also switch downloads off per album.
How fast is it for a large conference?
A selfie search returns results in under 2 seconds whether the album holds 200 photos or 3,000. Uploads run in parallel, so a full event is online in minutes. Multi-day events share one link, with a section per day.
Can the gallery carry our company brand?
Yes. Your logo in the header, your colours, a gallery theme per event, and on the Growth and Pro plans your own address at yourbrand.findme.photo with no FindMe branding.
